University of La Verne
The University of La Verne offers an American Bar Association (ABA)-approved Paralegal Studies Certificate program designed to prepare individuals for careers as paralegals. The program requires 32 semester hours and includes courses such as American Legal Studies, Legal Research and Writing, Law Office Computer Applications, Litigation I & II, Torts, Contracts, and a Paralegal Internship & Ethics. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or 60 semester hours (including a minimum of 18 in general education) from a regionally accredited college or university.
