Cerritos College offers an American Bar Association (ABA)-approved Paralegal Program designed to prepare students for careers as paralegals or legal assistants. Students can pursue either a Certificate of Achievement or an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Paralegal Studies. The curriculum covers essential areas such as legal research and writing, civil litigation, contracts, and ethics. The program emphasizes practical skills and offers internship opportunities with over 100 legal organizations, providing students with hands-on experience in real-world legal settings.
